We think there is to much waste. To much everywhere, really when is this going to stop? Why do we have to use packaging that we all throw away?
But then again I think we all have to start somewhere and this is our story, this is what we are thinking about and this is what we want to create.
While we were designing our scarves we wanted them to be the exact size the cloths were made of. So our scarves are 68cm wide and 183cm long, this is the best size because now we can print exactly 2 scarves next to each other. We cut the fabric ourselves, so this makes it possible for our supplier to print with such small margin. The scarves are Oeko-tex, which means there won't be any chemicals used for our fabrics, which is good because silk is one of the most softest fabrics there is and it would be a shame if we spoiled it with a lot of crap..... ;-)
The packaging sent to us is one sheet of plastic for 104 scarves and when we send it to you, you will get your scarf in baking paper.
What baking paper? Yes, so you can reuse it to bake a cake. We even got you a nice recipe for a lovely cheese cake (without sugar) because we don't want you to feel sick afterwards ;-).
So let's start sharing a cake...
